JerichoAdaptsToys Hosts Toy Adapting Training at St. Mary's Hospital For Children

Corinne Dicpinigaitis of JerichoAdaptsToys coordinated this hands-on toy adapting workshop with the Occupational Therapy and Speech Language therapy departments of St. Mary's Hospital for Children in Queens. The training focused on learning how to adapt a battery-operated plush toy and touched a little bit on other subjects like the importance of switch adapted toys and the process of adapting more complex battery-operated toys.

By the end of the session, everyone had a newly made switch adapted toy ready to be used right away! Everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to hopefully presenting another session on adapting more complex toys in the near future. Stay tuned!
